The “doctrine of righteousness” is an attack on the validity of wills. It originated in England in the mid 1800s, and was adopted by our SCC 120 years ago. Recently revitalized by the BC Court of Appeal, it is a powerful tool for litigators. Will planners will learn how to prepare for this doctrine and document their files. Planners and litigators will also learn the do’s and don’ts of the new trend of videotaping will instructions.

The Okanagan Valley is known for its bright sunshine, abundance of beaches and sparkling blue waters of Lake Okanagan. Farmers Markets and road side stands are filled with baskets overflowing with fruits and vegetables and then, then, there is the wine.
