Celebrating Diversity, Building Belonging is an inclusive networking reception that brings together members of the legal community, equity-deserving groups, allies, and community partners to celebrate the rich diversity that strengthens our profession. The event recognizes and supports cultural diversity, accessibility inclusion, LGBTQ+ communities, and the many intersecting identities that contribute to a more equitable and welcoming legal community.

Join us for an evening of meaningful connections, light refreshments and inspiring remarks as we launch our EDI Action Plan, A Legal Profession for Everyone, and reaffirm our commitment to fostering equity, diversity, inclusion, accessibility and belonging across the profession.

This event is hosted by the Canadian Bar Association, BC Branch, located on the traditional and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including the Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh and Musqueam First Nations. We encourage our members to explore the rich history and knowledge of Indigenous people, and to continue learning about their experience in Canada, past and present.

The venue for this event is wheelchair accessible and includes gender-neutral washrooms.
