Doc Fingers is a high-energy live band led by legendary Canadian blues, jazz and boogie-woogie pianist Bruce "Doc Fingers" Gallagher. Dubbed a "Doctor of Fingerology" during his early days touring with the iconic Ronnie Hawkins Band, Gallagher has spent decades captivating audiences around the world, performing everywhere from the vibrant jazz clubs of Paris to premier ski resorts in the Swiss Alps and British Columbia. Over a storied career, he has shared the stage with music royalty such as Chuck Berry, John Lee Hooker and Pink Floyd's David Gilmour.

For this performance, Gallagher will be joined by Vancouver's acclaimed horn player Tom Keenleyside on saxophone and vocals, along with fan favourite Chris “The Wrist” Nordquist on drums and vocals. Together this stellar lineup of seasoned musicians, delivers a rich, soulful fusion of blues, jazz and rock combining lightning-fast piano work, exceptional musicianship and unforgettable showmanship that keeps audiences engaged from the very first note.

This event is hosted by the Canadian Bar Association, BC Branch, located on the traditional and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including the Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh and Musqueam First Nations. We encourage our members to explore the rich history and knowledge of Indigenous people, and to continue learning about their experience in Canada, past and present.
