Kevin Dorsey explores the evolving role of remote alcohol monitoring in family law, with a focus on promoting child safety, ensuring accountability, and supporting recovery. Using real-world examples and evidence-based practices, he examines how courts and professionals can leverage technology to reduce conflict and enhance transparency in high-conflict custody cases involving alcohol use concerns.
About the Speaker
Kevin Dorsey has spent the past decade working alongside judges, attorneys, mediators, and mental health practitioners to improve outcomes in family law cases. He specializes in educating family law practitioners on tools and approaches that promote accountability, reduce conflict, and prioritize the best interest of the child. A sought-after speaker, Kevin presents at dozens conferences each year. He is a past president of Texas AFCC and currently serves on the boards of both Texas AFCC and Louisiana AFCC.
His work is centered on helping families navigate challenging transitions while keeping children safe, empowering parents to demonstrate sobriety and accountability, providing co-parents with peace of mind, and supporting the preservation and rebuilding of parent-child relationships. Kevin graduated from the University of Denver receiving a BA in Music and Political Science.
