Matt has 30+ years of experience as an economist and has been in his current position since 2022, leading the Labour Market Information, Reporting and Evaluation Team. His team produces an annual BC Labour Market Outlook and provides insights into current immigration and labour market trends.
About Jeevyn Dhaliwal, KC
Jeevyn practices workplace immigration law, with a background in employment law. She brings a unique perspective to considering the practical implications of government policy and regulation, having served as the President of the Law Society of BC for 2024. Following the completion of her term, she accepted an appointment to serve as a member of the Transitional Board of Legal Professions BC.
About Ian Ross
Ian started his public service career in 2002 and has held a range of senior leadership roles in immigration programs, poverty reduction, accessibility, income assistance and employment programs. He is currently Executive Director of the Immigration Programs Branch, which is responsible for the BC Provincial Nominee Program, B.C.’s only direct economic immigration tool.
