About Kara Duncan
Kara is a founding partner and Managing Partner of Duncan Allen Law LLP. She practises family law and has extensive experience assisting clients with a wide range of family law matters, including dispute resolution, mediation, negotiation, and litigation. Kara is committed to providing practical, client-focused legal services and has been actively involved in growing and leading Duncan Allen Law since its founding.
When she’s not in the office, Kara can be found making s’mores with her family at one of the beautiful campsites on Vancouver Island.
About James Gill
James is a founding partner of Apna Law. He practises civil litigation with a focus on family, estate, injury, and defamation matters, and is also a qualified mediator and dispute resolution specialist. James holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University and a law degree from Thompson Rivers University, and has been involved in building and leading Apna Law since its establishment.
Outside of the practice of law, James is a proud food and sports enthusiast. His favourite foods include most forms of chocolate and all things deep-fried. He particularly enjoys attempting to snowboard during the winters, and playing basketball and mountain biking during summers.
