This conference is hosted on the traditional and unceded territories of the Lekwungen peoples, specifically the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations, and the WSÁNEC peoples, who have longstanding historical and ongoing relationships with the land.

We encourage our members to explore the rich history and knowledge of Indigenous people, and to continue learning about their experience in Canada, past and present.
