You are invited to join two-day Associate Judge Shadowing Sessions in Kelowna, Vancouver, and New Westminster. All new lawyers, articling students, and law students are welcome.
Attend an informal dinner Associate Judge Susanna Hughes to connect and discuss next steps for the following day. During the shadow day, you will have the opportunity to observe chambers proceedings as a "fly on the wall" and gain insight into the do’s and don’ts of attending Chambers. This valuable experience offers a chance to expand your professional toolkit and strengthen your litigation skills for future applications.
The Associate Judges will lead a debrief at the end of the day, giving attendees the space to ask questions and gain deeper understanding of decisions made throughout the session.
Registration is limited. Registrants are required to be available for the dinner, along with the selected Shadowing Session date.
