NOTICE OF JOINT ZOOM ONLINE MEETING

Bring a Buddy Months - In April and May 2021 consider bringing a non-member buddy to a Section Meeting.  Sections provide opportunities for lawyers to further their professional education and to keep ahead of current developments within the profession. The MBA wants to show non-members what they're missing!!

TOPIC: Arbitrations and Appeals
SPEAKERS: The Hon. Thomas Cromwell, former Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada
Anne Wallace, Q.C., Anne Wallace Legal Professional Corporation

A panel discussion on the benefits and process of arbitration, including various styles of arbitration, virtual arbitration and standard of review for arbitration decisions.

Please RSVP (PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED) to the Manitoba Bar Association online (link above). 

You will need a computer or laptop (PC or Mac), smartphone or tablet with a microphone and webcam (built-in or external) and an internet connection.

At approximately 9:30am on Thursday, May 13, 2021 an email will be sent from the MBA advising you of the link that you will click on to join the Zoom video conference meeting.  So it will be important to register before 5:00pm on Wednesday, May 12, 2021.  
Attendance at this MBA Section meeting can be applied towards your Law Society of Manitoba’s Continuing Professional Development requirement for a maximum of 1.5 hours.
