TOPIC: Transitioning from Legal practice to Family Court Justice

Please join us for our annual informal year-end gathering (virtually), to recap and celebrate what our Section has accomplished in 2020-2021. 

We will be couriering snack boxes prepared by GoodLocal to all participants. Please enter the address you will be at while participating in the Zoom meeting on June 22nd into the “Special Needs (dietary and other)” box on the registration page and we will arrange delivery. Please note that if you live outside of Winnipeg, Headingley, East St.Paul, West St. Paul and St. Norbert you will need to arrange for pick up of your snack box from GoodLocal at 1041 Erin Street. If you do not enter a delivery address or indicate you will pick up snack box at GoodLocal in the special needs box, we will assume you do not want a snack box and will not arrange for one for you. Please RSVP by Tuesday, June 15, 2021 in order to receive a snack box. 

Please RSVP (PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED) to the Manitoba Bar Association online (link above). 

You will need a computer or laptop (PC or Mac), smartphone or tablet with a microphone and webcam (built-in or external) and an internet connection.  

If you will be participating from a laptop, you would also need to install a Zoom Client for Meetings from this site: https://zoom.us/download. If you are unsure whether you have the latest version of Zoom, please follow the instructions HERE

At approximately 9:30am on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 an email will be sent from the MBA advising you of the link that you will click on to join the Zoom video conference meeting. 

Attendance at this MBA Section meeting can be applied towards your Law Society of Manitoba's Continuing Professional Development requirement for a maximum of 1.5 hours.
