NOTICE OF ONLINE MEETING

Bring a Buddy Months - In April and May 2022 consider bringing a non-member buddy to a Section Meeting. Sections provide opportunities for lawyers to further their professional education and to keep ahead of current developments within the profession. The MBA wants to show non-members what they're missing!!

TOPIC: Manitoba Ombudsman and the Municipal Complaints Process
SPEAKER: Jill Perron, Manitoba’s Ombudsman

Manitoba’s ombudsman, Jill Perron, will discuss the complaints process, including investigations of Municipalities and how it can lead to a variety of outcomes, including improved administration for the benefit of the citizens.

Please RSVP (PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED) to the Manitoba Bar Association online (link above). The link to join the meeting will be sent out the morning of the meeting. 

At approximately 9:30am on Thursday, May 19, 2022 an email will be sent from the MBA advising you of the link that you will click on to join the Zoom video conference meeting.  So it will be important to register before 5:00pm on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.  

Attendance at this MBA Section learning session can be applied towards your Law Society mandatory yearly continuing professional development requirement for one hour.
