Corporate governance continues to evolve, driven by high-performing boards, new standards and changing stakeholder expectations. One area currently undergoing transformation is the board’s role in oversight of corporate purpose. Six governance partners, including the CCCA, partnered on a national survey to assess the state of purpose governance in Canada. 

Hear from the study’s author and purpose governance expert Coro Strandberg, Founding Chair of the Canadian Purpose Economy Project, and Ranj Sangra, CCCA President and Associate GC of Ballard Power Systems, as they present on the results of the survey and discuss its significance for general counsel.
