Join your peers across the border for a lively discussion of how the U.S. antitrust authorities’ approach to antitrust review and enforcement under President Trump’s administration has changed and the future of antitrust under President 2020. Key changes under the Trump administration include merger review and enforcement actions, the interplay between standards development, patent licensing and antitrust, as well as investigations into the big four tech companies. Looking forward to 2020, panelists will discuss presidential candidates’ statements on and plans for antitrust review and enforcement, including sector consolidation and monopolization and dismantling the big tech firms.
