Emerging Issues in Marketing and Advertising Law

February 1, 2022 | 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Eastern
Online (Zoom)

Marketing rules and regulations are constantly trying to keep up with both the ever-changing attitudes of consumers and the rapid advancement of purchasing habits in the digital age. This session will examine how consumer protection and antitrust regulators (both in Canada and overseas) are dealing with these changes. Join us to hear a diverse group of perspectives, including from regulators, private practice lawyers, and in-house counsel on how they are incorporating these emerging issues into their everyday practices. Topics will include: (i) Third party sellers and Ordinary Selling Price (OSP) provisions, (ii) Greenwashing, and (iii) Advertising to Children, as well as a discussion from in-house counsel on other emerging issues they see on the horizon.
