This panel will center on the Competition Bureau’s June 2025 discussion paper on algorithmic pricing. Panelists will discuss both the Bureau’s descriptive project (what is algorithmic pricing, and its use cases), as well as the Bureau’s findings and concerns relating to the potential competitive impacts of algorithmic pricing. The discussion will also address particular questions that the Bureau asked in its paper.
