This panel will provide international (and domestic) perspectives on Canadian merger reviews since amendments to the Competition Act came into effect in 2024. The panelists will share recent experiences from Canadian merger reviews and compare them to merger reviews in the pre-amendment period and in other jurisdictions. They will also discuss approaches to treating Canada in the context of multijurisdictional reviews going forward.
