Express Entry Reimagined:
New CRS Points, Job Offer Rules, and Practical Implications

November 10th, 2026 | 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Eastern
Online (Zoom)

Join the Canadian Bar Association’s National Immigration Section for a free online Lunch and Learn webinar examining the major changes to Express Entry announced by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada on October 16, 2026. Effective November 3, 2026, the changes will introduce a new Labour Market Integration factor in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), award additional points for eligible Canadian work experience in high-wage occupations and reintroduce CRS points for qualifying job offers in eligible high-wage occupations.

This session will explore the new rules and their practical implications for immigration practitioners, including how CRS scores may be affected, how job offers will be assessed, and what candidates and their representatives should consider when preparing or updating Express Entry profiles. The discussion will also address key considerations for advising clients during the transition to the new system. Bring your questions and join fellow immigration professionals for an informative lunchtime discussion on these significant developments in Canada's economic immigration system.

This event will only be presented in English.
