An exclusive CPD event hosted by the CBA Immigration Law Section and the IRCC Program Manager of the London Office, with participation from various senior members of the team.

The London office is a major hub for processing of immigration applications in Europe.  

The day will start with a presentation from the Program Manager, discussing the immigration work undertaken by the London  Office. We expect to have various members of the team present such as Area Directors and Unit Managers. They indicated they could present on all the different types of applications processed in London. Presentation will include a Question and Answer period, led by our current CBA Immigration Law Section Chair, Christine Beltempo and Past Chair, Lisa Middlemiss. The floor will also be open to participants to present their questions.

Lunch will be organized at a nearby location, but at the expense of each participant.

The day will continue in the afternoon with a tour of Canada House (and pending good weather, an exclusive look from the rooftop terrace giving on Trafalgar Square), a meeting with the International Trade team and perhaps some surprise guests, pending availability.  This could include a visit from the representatives of the various provinces housed in Canada House such as the Agent Generals for Saskatchewan, Alberta, Ontario and representative of the Delegation Générale du Quebec.
