This session will provide an overview of the types of recent changes in this field, namely: 

        •    The implementation of the Canadian Securities Administrators’ Client

              Focus Reforms which have introduced a new regulatory best interest standard

              for registrants; and

        •    Updates in the field of capital raising, namely the new start-up                        

             crowdfunding national rule and the revamped Community Economic 

             Development Corporation and Cooperative  program; and
