Social media has become increasingly important evidence in criminal law, family law, and insurance law litigation. This session will include a presentation from Judge Wayne Gorman, Provincial Court Judge in Newfoundland and Labrador. His presentation will focus on the admissibility of social media evidence in litigation. This session will have a strong criminal law component but will include
principles of admissibility which may be applied to all areas of litigation.
