RECORDING

Jason Ward’s story is both cautionary and inspiring. A successful lawyer and business owner, he seemed to have it all—wealth, prestige, and a thriving career. But behind the scenes, addiction took hold of his life in a way that most wouldn’t have guessed. His story is a vivid reminder that even the most outwardly successful people can struggle with mental health and substance abuse issues.  In his talks, Jason uses humor and self-deprecation to break down the stigma surrounding addiction. His candid approach opens up important conversations about the pressures and struggles that many professionals face, particularly those in high-stress careers such as lawyers. Jason’s ability to reflect on his journey with clarity and humor allows him to connect with others who may be facing similar battles.  Through his presentation, his goal is simple: to foster more open discussions about the things that too many are afraid to talk about, and in doing so, make a difference in both the legal community and society at large.
