Children’s participation in court proceedings is increasingly recognized as an important aspect of access to justice and child-centered decision-making. In this session, Michael Zimmerman will explore the legal framework, emerging practices, and practical considerations surrounding the participation of children in Canadian court proceedings, drawing on developments from across the country.

CANCELLATION POLICY

A 20% administrative fee will apply to cancellations received in writing by the CBA Branch office up to three (3) business days before the program. After that, no refunds will be issued, but materials and recordings (if available) will be provided. You may substitute another person in your place if you are unable to attend. ABC-NB-CBA reserves the right to cancel sessions due to low registration.
