Gender-Based Violence Section Meeting
October 21, 2026 • 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm • Zoom Meeting
What should the future of gender-based violence law and practice look like in New Brunswick?
Help shape the conversation.
You’re invited to the upcoming CBA-NB Gender-Based Violence Section Meeting on October 21, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, chaired by Karla O’Reagan and I. Mae Florina.
This is an opportunity to connect with colleagues, share your perspective, and help establish the Section’s priorities for its first year.
We’ll be discussing key issues including family violence and coercive control, intimate partner violence, criminal law developments, child protection, access to justice, Indigenous perspectives, professional development opportunities, and opportunities for collaboration.
Whether you practise in this area, are developing an interest in it, or want to contribute to meaningful professional and community dialogue, your voice matters.
