DBPlus - a defined benefit pension plan for law firms

Only 47% of Canadians have pension coverage and most of those are defined contribution pensions, which are subject to the whims of the market. The numbers for law firms are even bleaker – most have no pension arrangement at all. 

DBplus pays guaranteed retirement income for life. On average, a member who participates in DBplus over their entire career is expected to receive approximately $8 in pension benefits for every $1 they contribute.
