Mobile computing embraces a host of portable technologies and devices including laptops, notebooks, tablets and smartphones that are increasingly being used in marketing and commerce, in addition to everyday life.
Experienced counsel will review legal compliance issues and contractual considerations with respect to online contracts in the context of mobile computing. Discussion topics will include data security and emerging privacy issues such as location-based services, online tracking, profiling and targeting. Certain aspects of cloud computing will also be discussed, as many mobile services are hosted in the cloud.
