This program will chronicle their individual journeys from law to politics and explore how you can forge your own path into the political realm.

    • What diverse career options/roles are available in politics (different levels: federal/provincial/municipal; different roles: elected and non-elected, advocacy, policy, etc.)?

    • What qualities and personal attributes are essential to have a successful career in politics?
    • What skills should aspiring women lawyers develop now for a life in politics?
  • Building a solid foundation
    • How can you effectively network and build the right alliances to help steer your political career?
    • Do you need to pick a party affiliation? Will it help or hurt you?
