OBA Access to Justice Committee PROGRAM | Original Program Date: June 18, 2020

In its inaugural Summit, the OBA Access to Justice Committee shines a light on how to be an ally for access to justice. In 2020, there are many ways to be engaged in this important issue and this summit will focus on what we can all do, to be better allies in supporting access to justice across Ontario. Experienced speakers from various sectors of the legal community will address and examine the concerns and obstacles that prevent people from accessing justice equally, and how we can work together to change this. Whether it be assisting with legal aid clients, carrying out pro bono work or understanding the need to be sensitive to clients who have difficulty accessing justice properly, there are many ways you can be involved and become an ally. Join us for this highly valuable program to learn how your valuable skills set can be put to use in another new and beneficial manner!
