OBA Privacy and Access to Information Law PROGRAM | Original Program Date: April 1, 2020

As governments around the world seek to protect the health and safety of their citizens, and businesses adapt their work practices in order to mitigate losses and reduce liability, the need to share data is overwhelming. However, the potential to infringe privacy rights is widespread. As businesses shift rapidly to remote working environments and governments impose greater restrictions on individual liberties, the need for privacy practitioners to provide guidance that is both proportionate and robust cannot be underestimated. Join us as we bring together experts who will focus on the opportunities and legal challenges that currently exist in privacy law and will so for the foreseeable future.
