OBA Charity and Not-For-Profit Law PROGRAM | Original Program Date: November 25, 2021

The Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, 2010 (ONCA) is coming. This summer the Ontario Government announced that the ONCA will be proclaimed on October 19, 2021, commencing a three year transition period until it is in force in Ontario. As the enabling corporate legal framework for most not-for-profits incorporated under provincial law, understanding the ONCA will be critical to lawyers who counsel both charitable and non-charitable not-for-profits. At these two programs our expert faculty will explain the key provisions of the ONCA providing you with essential insights and practical guidance. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to learn about this transformational legislative change.
