Cyber attacks and breaches are increasing. How do you protect your clients from these cyber threats, and what happens if a breach occurs?

At this timely program, our expert faculty will provide insights and  practical tips on how to counsel your clients before, during and after a cyber event including:

  • Understanding the steps that a corporation can take to prevent or prepare in the event of a cyber breach;
  • Your obligations before and in the event of a cyber breach and claims that can arise as a result of a breach;
  • Actions that you need to take in the event of a cyber breach and where to go for assistance; and
  • How to prosecute a class action or defend a claim brought by client/customers.

Whether you are routinely engaged in counseling and/or litigating cyber security breaches or developing your expertise in this area of practice, this program will provide essential information to add to your legal toolkit.
