As workplace investigations have become more commonplace, employers are now faced with a multitude of considerations both in the selection of an investigator and how the investigation will be conducted. Join us to hear about helpful considerations to take into account in determining whether or not a trauma-informed investigation may be appropriate, and some factors to consider in conducting an appropriate investigations. Our expert faculty will walk you through some of the complex issues that employers, as well as investigators, should consider in conducting their investigations, including:
- Human rights considerations relevant to conducting a procedurally fair investigation;
- Factors relevant to a trauma-informed investigation;
- How microaggressions can manifest in the workplace, and how to analyze allegations of microaggressions in investigations.
