OBA Municipal Law PROGRAM | 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM (ET)

Municipal and planning lawyers are increasingly encountering self-represented or unrepresented individuals who assert they are exempt from the legal system. Failing to manage these “pseudolegal claims” effectively can result in increased costs, disruptive conduct in hearings and public meetings, and obstruction of planning approvals and enforcement actions.

Join us to learn how to navigate these increasingly common challenges and gain essential guidance from our faculty on key professionalism considerations when engaging with self-represented litigants advancing such pseudolegal arguments.
