Join the OBA’s East Region members for a garden party and gallery tour.

Reconnect with your colleagues while enjoying an evening of cocktails, canapes and conversation at the gorgeous, and newly updated, Tavern at the Gallery. Summer in Ottawa is renowned for long evenings, vibrant patios and iconic landmarks, so we are bringing all those elements together at this year's East Region Summer Social.

Optional National Gallery Tour
Before the social begins, attendees will will have the opportunity to join a 30-minute 3 To See Tour. A guided exploration of three remarkable works of art connected by a common thread.
• To join the tour, meet near the entrance to the Indigenous and Canadian Galleries at 5:20pm. Admission to the National Gallery is free after 5:00pm on Thursdays.

Whether you arrive at Tavern at the Gallery after your tour, or meet everyone there, nestled beside one of Canada's premier cultural institutions and overlooking the city's historic heart, it's the perfect setting to enjoy a summer evening with colleagues, reconnect with familiar faces, and build new professional relationships.

Tickets include welcome cocktail/mocktail or wine, selection of delicious canapes and more! Come celebrate summer and experience an evening that showcases the very best of Ottawa's cultural and professional community.
