OBA Aboriginal Law PROGRAM | 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Join us to unravel the evolving legal implications of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) across a range of practice areas, with a particular focus on environmental, municipal, and construction law. Our expert faculty will decipher recent case law and utilize current case studies to illustrate the growing influence of UNDRIP on legal frameworks, regulatory processes, and decision-making in Canada. Gather helpful insights on UNDRIP’s impact on the duty to consult, privacy and access-to-information regimes, and the governance and management of forestry, energy, and other natural resources.
