Synopsis

Welcome to the first of three webinars from the BC WLF targeting YOUR questions about practicing law during COVID-19 and helping you adapt your practice!

Please join Coach Allison Wolf, PCC, for a one-hour interactive session on the topic of opportunities during COVID-19. All of us around the world were thrust into a period of upheaval and uncertainty as the pandemic hit. We had to quickly adapt to new ways of working, communicating, and moving through our daily lives. Now, a couple of months in, our response is evolving. We are getting used to the new normal and the changes we have experienced are evoking - for some of us - a period of reflection.

An opportunity has opened up for us to contemplate what we want from our lives – professionally and personally – and what in our heart of hearts is true about our needs, desires, and vision for the future. This session will be a coach-lead guide to exploring these questions and helping the registrants navigate new opportunities!

To make our session most productive, please share with Allison the questions or thoughts that have been arising for you over this period. Some examples might include: thinking about making a career change, or contemplating remote working and what that might make possible for you, or thinking it might be time to get focused on business development but you don’t know where to start…. And really the list of what you might be contemplating is endless!

Please email these to coach@shiftworks.ca with the subject line “questions” before the webinar.

Allison will anonymize the responses from the participants and will endeavor to address ‘real life’ examples, without identifying the individuals who asked the specific questions.

This session will set the stage for the next coach-led webinar on June 10, 2020 by Coach Linda Parsons, QC, on maximizing opportunities in these times.

Allison Wolf, PCC, is a senior coach working exclusively with lawyers. Over the past sixteen years, she has helped countless clients develop thriving legal practices and before that served as director of legal marketing for award-winning law firms. During the present crisis, Allison is intensely focused on supporting her clients and community in accessing resilience and surfacing the possibilities that emerge from these difficult circumstances. She is the founder of the resource website http://lawyerwithalife.com and is regularly posting articles and videos to support this effort.
