ABOUT THE CONFERENCE


Register today to secure your spot at the 2023 Immigration Law Conference, taking place at the Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront in Vancouver on March 3, 2023. Out-of-town participants can also register remotely for a virtual viewing.

$300.00 for Student/Admin Rate for CBA Members* (+GST)
$650.00 for Non-Members** (+GST)



*The Student/Admin rate applies to Articling & Law Student Members of the CBA as well as Legal Support Staff whose employer is a member of the CBA.

BURSARY TO ATTEND THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE

The CBABC Immigration Law Section invites early career lawyers to apply for bursaries to attend the National CBA Immigration Conference in Ottawa from June 1-3, 2023. Bursaries are awarded as a reimbursement to successful applicants who have paid for their registration and have attended both the BC and National Immigration Conferences. See below for more details.

A maximum of six bursaries, valued at $500 each, will be awarded.

ACKNOWLEDGING FIRST NATIONS TERRITORIES

This conference is hosted by CBABC, which is located on the traditional and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including the Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh and Musqueam First Nations. We encourage our members to explore the rich history and knowledge of Indigenous people, and to continue learning about their experience in Canada, past and present.
 
CPD ACCREDITATION

Attendance at this in-person/virtual conference will provide you with 6 CPD hours for the 2023 Law Society of BC reporting, including 2 hours of the ethics, professional responsibility and practice management component.
