Agenda

Please join the Young Lawyers section for a discussion about drafting considerations when preparing a Power of Attorney for your clients.  Topics for discussion will include hurdles, considerations and options when your client wants to appoint a non-resident attorney (either outside BC or outside Canada) as well as things to consider when appointing a trust company as attorney.  Questions are welcome and encouraged.

Catharine Turner is a Senior Trust Advisor with Royal Trust Corporation of Canada.  Catharine works with both domestic and international high net worth families providing customized estate, trust and incapacity solutions.

Lunch is optional - sandwiches and a drink will be ordered from Salt & Pepper Fox for those paying the lunch fee.
