The following session is the first of a series of sessions hosted by the Young Lawyers Committee addressing the legwork involved with ensuring a successful merger or joint venture transaction. This first session will address the preliminary competition and foreign investment review analysis. For example, what preliminary analysis is done? What questions should lawyers ask their clients? What are the issues to look out for at the initial planning stage?
