Municipal Law Questions: A Collaborative Roundtable and Networking Session
Presented by the CBA Alberta Municipal Law (South) Section
Join your peers for an interactive, in-person roundtable dedicated to raising the legal questions currently on your mind, offering a collaborative space to exchange insights and practical solutions. Bring your questions. Examples include:
- Jurisdictional Boundaries: are schools exempt from planning legislation if they are on provincially owned land?
- Right to a view and sunlight: Are views and access to sunlight for solar panels and gardens valid planning considerations?
- Infrastructure gap: What are your options when a development is exempt from planning approvals but still triggers the need for public infrastructure upgrades?
*Please note: This is an in-person only section meeting. There is no virtual/webcast option. This section meeting will not be recorded nor any materials shared.
