Rosemary GalloKaitlyn Meyers, and Lucas Terpkosh, CPA, CA, CBV, explore the complex intersection of family law and corporate law, focusing on the unique challenges that arise in cases involving minority shareholders. The panel addresses disclosure challenges, valuation concerns, and legal strategies for dividing or managing these interests, including trustee arrangements and oppression remedies. The discussion also examines the company’s role and obligations when entangled in a shareholder’s family dispute.
