Topic:
"Intersocietal Law: Thinking and Working Across Legal Orders"
There are many conversations in Canada and elsewhere around the world about the work of Indigenous law. We will set out a brief summary of Indigenous law in the world today, and move to exploring and thinking about Indigenous across societal bounds. We will discuss the difference between pan-indigeneity, and transsystemic/intersocietal legal engagement.

Hadley Friedland
Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Alberta
