Inns of Court - South

THE INNS OF COURT is back, in-person, and ready to provide you with a comfortable, safe, and intimate evening of informal discussion and "dining out" with members of the bench. This event will give Young Lawyers the opportunity to hear presentations by distinguished speakers on topics that are most important to those in the early years of practice. Attendees will be given the opportunity to dine with a member of the judiciary having casual conversations, asking questions, as well as be regaled with stories from the bench.

TOPIC: The topic for the evening will be “How to be Effective from Any Chair!” and will explore what it means to be first chair and second chair in various types of hearings, including at trial, a chambers application, a JDR, and at pre-trial conferences. The esteemed panel will provide tips on how to excel as first or second chair, manage your case, and how to best advocate for your clients.
