Kimberly Precht will moderate a discussion between Gregory Sim (Field Law, Edmonton) and Anastasia-Maria
Hountalas (SML Law, Toronto) about the Alberta Court of Appeal’s paradigm-shifting decision in Charkhandeh v
College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta, 2025 ABCA 258, and how Alberta’s new costs regime for professional
disciplinary proceedings compares to approaches taken in other provinces.
