Borrower Behaving Badly
Presented by the CBA Alberta Creditor & Debtor Law (North) Section
Kari Sejr and Coralie Mohr will lead an engaging and interactive roundtable discussion with their thoughts on the rise of aggressive and vexatious defendants in foreclosure and judgment enforcement actions in Alberta, what it’s like dealing with litigants who just won’t quit, and offer their suggestions on managing borrowers who behave badly (but maybe not so badly as to be declared vexatious by the Court). Be prepared to swap your own borrower horror stories and discuss how you’ve managed litigants who haunt your dreams.
