
An Introduction to Edmonton Mental Health Court
Presented by the CBA Alberta Criminal Justice (North) Section
In this presentation, Justice J. Moher and lawyers who frequently appear in Edmonton’s Mental Health Court (MHC) will discuss their respective roles and responsibilities, as well as the unique features of the MHC process. The session will also offer practical guidance and insights for lawyers appearing in MHC, including considerations for effective advocacy and collaboration within this specialized court setting.
