The Big Beautiful Bill - Understanding The Changes
Presented by the CBA Alberta Wills & Trusts South Section
Terry Ritchie is an active author, speaker, and educator on international tax and financial planning matters and is the Senior Director and Private Wealth Manager at Cardinal Point Focus Partners Canada. He will be unpacking the key changes Canadians should be aware of in what is being called Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill.” While this legislation is based in the U.S., it will have implications for Canadians, such as cross border inheritance, taxation, estate planning, and more. Terry will walk us through the potential impacts and what to keep in mind when planning for the future. You will be guided through the financial and political landscape and what we might expect in the months ahead. This session will offer trusted guidance in an uncertain landscape.
