Advising Your Client in Personal Insolvency Proceedings
Presented by the CBA Alberta Insolvency Law (South) Section
The number of personal insolvency filings continues to steadily increase each year. At some point, one or more of your clients will most likely be impacted by personal insolvency proceedings, either as a creditor or as the debtor.
The purpose of this section meeting is to provide you with general knowledge on what to expect and how to navigate personal insolvency proceedings. Several licensed insolvency trustees will be in attendance to share their expertise. By the end of the section meeting, attendees should feel more comfortable advising their clients on major questions that commonly arise in personal insolvency proceedings.
