Following the BCCA’s release of the Notice to the Public Regarding Modified Filing Directions in Civil and Criminal Appeals, join us as we unpack the steps to assembling your documents and preparing them for e-filing.

Our panelists will provide practical walk-through demonstrations to highlight how to use Adobe to prepare your materials for e-filings and how to use the courts e-filing system. Whether you are preparing a smaller document or an Appeal Book, this webinar covers the basics as well as tips and best practices to minimize perceived complexity and ensure success.

 

 

About Timothy Outerbridge
Tim Outerbridge became the Registrar of the British Columbia Court of Appeal in June 2014. In his role as Registrar, Tim performs judicial and quasi-judicial functions, including conducting registrar’s hearings, assessments and other matters set out by statute or the Rules of Court or referred by a judge of the Court of Appeal. Tim also manages the Office of the Registrar and provides legal, technical and procedural direction to the Deputy Registrars and provide oversight to the Registry and its staff.



About Patricia White
Patricia White is an Information Management Business Analyst and the CSO Product Manager for the Ministry of Attorney General. She is responsible for Court Services Online and is working on a number of projects that support the eCourt initiative and the enhancement of Court Services Online. Previously she worked in a court registry and has held a variety of positions both in and out of court at the Provincial, Supreme and Court of Appeal levels.



About Rose Singh
