ONLINE MEETING: CBABC Reconciliation Action Plan Engagement with ALF
This meeting is being hosted by the Aboriginal Lawyers Forum.

Time: Tuesday, February 1, 2022, 4:30pm - 6:00pm (PT)
Synopsis

The Truth & Reconciliation Committee has held eight sessions for members to engage about the next CBABC Reconciliation Action Plan. At this meeting, ALF is invited to review the collection of ideas and help to identify priorities.  The first part of the conversation will focus on the goal to support Indigenous lawyers to continue in the legal profession.

To prepare for the meeting, please see the updated Progress Report, and a Summary of the ideas collected during the consultation with all CBABC members.  A draft action plan is in the works and will be sent to registrants prior to the Feb. 1st meeting.

Please note the updated meeting date. Those who had registered for the original date will have their registration carried over. Please contact sections@cbabc.org if you have any questions.

Territorial Acknowledgement
This event will be broadcast from the traditional and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including Tsleil-Waututh, Squamish and Musqueam First Nations. We encourage members to explore the rich history and knowledge of Indigenous people, and to continue learning about their experience in Canada past and present.
