ONLINE MEETING: Planning for Critical Illness
This meeting is being hosted by the Elder Law Section.

Speaker(s): Dr. Daren Heyland, Queens University
Time: Wednesday, October 21, 2021 at 4:15pm - 5:30pm (PT)
CPD Hours: 1.00 hour

Dr. Daren Heyland is a critical care doctor, medical researcher and Professor of Medicine at Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario.  He is a champion of person-centred care who has developed a number of tools and strategies to support people in understanding decision-making for critically ill loved ones or themselves. 

Dr. Heyland will speak to the CBABC Elder Law subsection, from his perspective as a doctor, about how lawyers can best help clients prepare for their future medical care needs or those of others.
